30 Easy Halloween Appetizers That Actually Taste Amazing
Halloween appetizers do not have to look spooky to be a big hit at your Halloween party. In fact, I'd argue you're better of picking seasonal snacks that actually taste good and your friends will want to eat!

I love festive holiday food all year round, I really do. But if given the choice between a dish that is "cutesy" and one that actually tastes good, I know exactly which one I'll pick every time.
This time of year can be such a challenge: You want to host a fun Halloween party but you don't necessarily want to serve gross looking food that is meant to look like something else.
With food prices being what they are, I vote for food your friends will actually want to eat and enjoy. There are so many easy ways to decorate the appetizer table, the food itself can just focus on being delicious!
Serving Tips for Halloween Appetizers

You don't need to choose spooky-looking food to have a fun and festive Halloween appetizer spread.
Stock up on some seasonal tableware and you can dress up even the easiest snacks and they're suddenly spooky enough for ghoulish fun.
- Festive Platters: Serve your snacks on a BOO shaped charcuterie board, a pumpkin-shaped board, or my personal favorite -- add a Halloween mini to a Nora Fleming platter.
- Pumpkin-Shaped Dip Bowl: Serve your cold or hot dips in this cute pumpkin-shaped dish.
- Festive Tableware: Serve your dish on a plain white or black dish and then bring along festive paper napkins and party plates. I think this adorable orange and pink Halloween table set is perfect.
- Platter Accents: Order a set of plastic spiders and sprinkle them around the edges of your platter. Don't place them directly on the food itself but use them to add a creepy ambiance to your dish. Then place a faux spider web underneath your platter.
- Cupcake Picks: Buy an assortment of cute Halloween cupcake toppers. You can poke them into all sorts of dishes from sweet to savory to add a little holiday flair. These cocktail party picks with Halloween wooden toppers would be cute, too.
- Place Card & A Funny Name: Order a pack of festive pumpkin place cards and then use a clever name for your dish that gives it a spooky feel. Check out my Halloween potluck recipes for examples!
