Looking for the easiest Christmas dessert ever?
Make Christmas Eve sweet with this super easy Gingerbread S'mores Dip served with graham crackers.
My youngest practically lives on graham crackers, so this dessert is right up her alley. We had such a fun time making this a project for the afternoon ahead of Christmas Eve.
The family loved dunking their crackers in the gingerbread dip all night long while we watched our favorite Christmas movies.
Why This is the Best Recipe
- Quick and Easy: The holiday season is busy enough, this fast recipe can be made in minutes.
- Sweet and Simple: With just a few ingredients, you get the same flavors of gingerbread cookies that take so much longer to bake!
- Great with Fruit: If you're looking for a recipe to cut down on the cookies themselves, offer up a fruit plate with sliced apples. They taste great with the gingery seasonings in the dip.

How To Make the Dip
First, melt the candy melts in a large microwave-safe mixing bowl. Heat the candy on HIGH power but only in 30 second increments. Stir between each run in the microwave, the candy will begin to melt on its own with the stirring.
Stir in the marshmallow fluff and spices.
Fold in the whipped topping.
Transfer the dip to a pretty bowl for serving and chill.
Just before serving, sprinkle a little more nutmeg or cinnamon over the top for garnish.
How to Make No-Bake Gingerbread Dippers
While we waited for the dip to chill, we used an adorable mini cookie cutter from our favorite cookie cutters for kids to make no-bake gingerbread cookies.
To Make the Gingerbread Boys:
- Place a single, unbroken, graham cracker on a microwave-safe plate.
- Dampen a paper towel and completely cover the cracker.
- Microwave for 30 seconds.
- Immediately press a gingerbread man cookie cutter into the cracker.
- Firmly jiggle the cutter and then gently remove the cracker shape.
- Allow to cool and set.
It was the perfect little project to keep my kids busy and entertained on the afternoon of Christmas Eve when the excitement was getting to be just too much!
Make Ahead Tips
This is such an easy make-ahead dessert for the holidays, you can prep the dip and keep it in an airtight container or covered with plastic wrap in the fridge for up to 5 days.
I do not recommend freezing it, the creamy texture may separate during the thawing process.
If you want to prep ahead the gingerbread dippers, you could keep them in an airtight container on the counter for up to 2 days.
Variations
I love the flavor of the graham crackers with the gingerbread dip but they aren't the only dunker you could put on your dessert board.
Also try:
- Butter Cookies
- Chocolate Wafers
- Nila Wafers
- Sliced Apples
- Salted Pretzels: Or make a batch of gingerbread spiced pretzels using my gingerbread finishing sugar with my seasoned pretzels recipe.
Serving Suggestions
This easy festive dip is so cute for a treat for the kids all during the holiday season. You could prep it for a family Christmas movie night (don't forget to print my Christmas Bingo cards!) or to celebrate St. Nick's Day.
For Christmas Eve, plan to serve a Crockpot hot chocolate bar and sugar cookie platter with gingerbread dip.
Or, offer up a Christmas party dip buffet and include a few more fun options for the kids and grown-ups alike.
