Sometimes a new dinner has such a delicious sauce, I start dreaming of other ways I can use it.

When I made my easy peach glazed pork tenderloins, I loved how quick it was to mix together the bourbon peach glaze that gets brushed on top.

Knowing it would pair well with either chicken or salmon, I decided to share this as a stand-alone recipe for you to keep on hand for busy nights!

Ingredients

The ingredients to make the bourbon peach glaze are on the kitchen counter.

All you need to make this easy meat glaze is:

  • Peach Preserves: If you can't find peach, you can use apricot preserves instead.
  • Bourbon: If you don't want to use alcohol, you can omit this ingredient completely or substitute an equal amount of apple cider vinegar.
  • Honey
  • Garlic Salt
  • Chili Powder
  • Cayenne Pepper

How to Make It

Add all the ingredients to a small mixing bowl and stir them together. That's it! See? So easy.

You can mix it up in advance and keep it in an airtight container like a mason jar up to 5 days in the fridge.

How to Use the Glaze

Two pork tenderloins are nestled in a blue baking dish and coated in a bourbon peach glaze.

I used this easy glaze when I made my peach glazed pork tenderloins and it was enough for two tenderloins nestled in a single baking dish.

You could also use it on:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 4 - 6 salmon fillets

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup peach jam
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • Sprinkle of cayenne pepper

Instructions
 Start Cooking

  • Whisk everything together. Brush over chicken, pork, or salmon.
  • The glaze may be mixed together in advance and stored in a mason jar in the fridge for up to 5 days.
