Two pork tenderloins are nestled in a blue baking dish and coated in a bourbon peach glaze.

Budget-friendly pork tenderloin is one of my grocery list staples and is featured on our dinner rotations several times a month.

This lean cut of meat roasts so well in the oven and can be seasoned and flavored countless ways.

I’ve been obsessed with peach season this summer, so tried this easy bourbon peach glazed pork to pair with a fresh baked skillet of cornbread.

The dinner was a huge hit and so easy to prep. The best news?? Using a jar of peach preserves means you can bake this easy dinner any night of the year, no need to wait for peach season!

Why This is the Best Recipe

  • Sweet and a Little Spicy: The combo of peach jam, honey, and warm spices flavor mild pork perfectly.
  • Pantry Ingredients: You can keep everything on hand for this delicious recipe and whip it together whenever pork tenderloins go on sale.
  • Easy Meal Prep: You’ll find lots of ways to use the sliced pork leftovers. Build flavorful sandwiches or salads later in the week.

Ingredient Notes

The ingredients for the peach glazed pork tenderloins are on the kitchen counter.

Dinner is ready in a flash when you start with this simple shopping list:

  • Pork Tenderloins: Buy the unseasoned, unmarinated plain cuts. I grab them whenever they go BOGO at the grocery store because they freeze really well.
  • Peach Preserves
  • Bourbon
  • Honey
  • Garlic Salt
  • Chili Powder
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Kosher Salt & Pepper

Season the Pork

Place the pork tenderloins in a baking dish and season both sides with salt and pepper.

I love to use this handy Back of the Yards seasoning which has a hint of garlic in the rub, too. You could add some minced garlic to the pork if you prefer.

The pork tenderloins are in the pan with spices rubbed on top of them.

Prep the Peach Glaze

Stir together the peach preserves, honey, bourbon, garlic salt, chili powder, and cayenne pepper in small bowl.

A mixing bowl with the prepared bourbon peach glaze and a spoon.

You’re going to love this glaze so much, you may want to use it on chicken or other cuts of meat so I wrote a separate printable recipe card in case you want to save it separately. You can print my bourbon peach glaze recipe here.

Brush the prepared glaze over the pork.

Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Bake the pork for 20 minutes.

Then use a pastry brush to brush the melted glazed over the surface of the pork and return it to the oven.

Bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the pork registers 145°F at the thickest part of the meat.

Let the pork rest for 5 – 10 minutes before slicing.

Make Ahead Tips

You can mix up the glaze a day or two in advance and store it in the fridge.

The pork can also be seasoned and refrigerated the night before.

Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat perfectly in the microwave or covered in the oven.

Variations

  • Apricot Preserves: Can’t find peach preserves? You can use apricot instead.
  • No Bourbon: Don’t want to use this ingredient? You can substitute apple cider vinegar or simply omit it.
  • Herbed Glaze: The peach glaze pairs well with fresh rosemary or thyme.
  • Spicy: Want more heat? Add more cayenne or a dash of hot sauce to the glaze.

Serving Suggestions

I think this juicy peach glazed pork pairs really well with homemade cast iron cornbread to soak up all that yummy sauce.

To cut the sweetness, add a dollop of vinegar slaw or chow chow relish for a vinegary bite.

Old fashioned squash casserole or ranch roasted potatoes would make perfect side dishes with the tender pork.

And save your leftovers to make these easy roasted pork sandwiches!
