Orange Creamsicle Smoothie
This easy orange creamsicle smoothie is made with Greek yogurt so it is packed with protein to help power your morning.

Smoothie flavors run the spectrum and offer a great way to introduce kids to a variety of fruit flavors and yogurt.
This easy orange creamsicle smoothie is my kids' all-time favorite. We love the bright sunny color and the refreshing burst of citrus paired with creamy vanilla yogurt.
Ingredients
This simple smoothie is made from easy whole foods:
- Frozen Peaches
- Fresh Orange
- Banana
- Greek Yogurt: I used lowfat vanilla yogurt because it was what I had on hand. To reap the full protein benefits, you'll want to choose a plain or vanilla Greek yogurt. Bonus: it helps make the smoothie thicker, too.
- Orange Juice

Prep a Smoothie Kit
In a pinch, I just used the ingredients as-is but for a super chilled and thick smoothie, you can prep smoothie kits for the freezer:
- Peel and break apart the orange segments.
- Peel and slice the banana.
- Measure the frozen peach slices or peel and slice fresh peaches.
Freeze the fruits together in one bag and you'll be able to just dump the whole kit into the blender.
How to Make It
Add the orange juice and yogurt to your blender first. It is always a good idea to have the liquids on the bottom to help the blender blades.
Add the frozen fruits on top.
Blend until smooth.
Serving Suggestions
A nice protein smoothie is a great breakfast for before a test at school but my kids enjoy them as after school snacks, too.
Sometimes I'll split the smoothie to serve as a smaller breakfast drink alongside a frozen breakfast sandwich or scrambled eggs and vegetables for even more protein.
