Well seasoned but not too spicy, this baked Alabama bbq chicken breasts recipe is a quick and easy way to enjoy a barbecue dinner in a pinch. Rub the chicken down with wing seasoning and bake until tender and juicy. Drizzle the tangy Alabama sauce over the top for tons of flavor.
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set aside.
Place the chicken breasts in a mixing bowl or plastic ziptop bag. Sprinkle with the dry chicken seasonings and turn to coat.
Lay the chicken breasts flat on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes. Turn the chicken over halfway through cooking. The chicken should register 175°F at the thickest part of the breast when tested with a probe thermometer.
While the chicken is baking, whisk together the Alabama bbq sauce.
To serve, slice the chicken and drizzle the prepared Alabama bbq sauce over the top.
