This festive salad features sweet and crispy red and green fruits and toasted almonds with a mustard vinaigrette dressing. Perfect for serving for Christmas or Thanksgiving as a festive holiday salad.
Spread the prepared romaine lettuce on a serving platter.
Dice the apple and pear and add the fruit to a small bowl. Squeeze some of the fresh lemon juice over the bowl and toss gently with a fork to coat. This will help the apple and pear to prevent browning in the air as your salad sits.
Sprinkle the prepared fruit evenly over the salad. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese, cranberries, and almonds over the top.
Serve with mustard vinaigrette on the side for guests to drizzle their own OR you could toss the entire salad in dressing in a large salad bowl just before serving.
