These sweet and savory breakfast pinwheels are inspired by the classic Monte Cristo sandwich seen on many restaurant menus. Made into easy nibbles with crescent roll dough, they are perfect for a brunch buffet.

Ingredients
1(8 oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
2tablespoonsstrawberry or raspberry jam
6slicesof Swiss cheese
4thin slices of deli ham
4thin slices of deli turkey
2 - 3tablespoonspowdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Set out a large baking sheet lined with parchment.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 4 rectangles made of two triangles each. *See post photos above for visual instructions.
Spread the jam evenly over all 4 rectangles.
Top with a single layer of cheese, ham, and then turkey.
Roll the rectangles into long logs starting at the wide end of the rectangle. Cut each log into 5 equal pieces and place them cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 2 minutes before dusting with a layer of powdered sugar.
Can be served warm or room temperature with additional jam for dipping.
