Easy buttermilk herb dressing can be seasoned with your favorite fresh or dried herbs like dill, basil, chives, or Italian herb blend. Use it for salads with chicken or pork or as a chicken marinade.

Ingredients
2green onionsminced
3tablespoonsmayonnaise
2tablespoonsDijon mustard
1tablespoonolive oil
1teaspoonminced garlic
Juice from 1 lemon
1cupbuttermilk
Salt and pepper to taste
1tablespoonfresh herbs or 2 tsp dried herbsSee Notes
Instructions
Chop both the green and white parts of the green onions and add them to a small mixing bowl.
Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon juice to the bowl and whisk everything together until smooth.
Drizzle in the buttermilk while whisking. Stir until smooth. Season with salt and pepper and either fresh or dried herbs. (See notes.)
Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Chill until ready to use.
