These sweet and slightly spicy candied nuts taste like they just came off a street cart in New York City but only take 5 minutes of prep.

Ingredients
1egg white
12 - 16oz.pecan halves
1/2cupbrown sugar
1/2cupsugar
1tbspcinnamon
1/4tspcayenne
1tspsalt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 300°F.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium bowl, add egg white and whisk it briefly with a fork. Add the pecans to the bowl and use the fork to gently toss to coat.
In a small bowl, add together the two sugars and the seasonings. Use a fork to toss them together.
Pour the sugar mixture over the nuts and use your fork to toss to coat. Spread them evenly on the prepared baking sheet and spread out into a single layer.
Bake for 20 minutes. Gently toss the nuts on the sheet and spread into a single layer again. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
Let the nuts cool on the cookie sheet. Once cooled, break them up and place them in your serving bowl.

Safety Caution: The nuts will be VERY sticky and hot. Do not try to break them up until they are completely cooled or you could get a burn.
