Ingredients
4poundsground beef
1tspminced garlic
3carrots
1stalk of celery
3onions
1tspsalt
Sprinkle of fresh ground pepper to taste
Instructions
Add the ground beef to a large pot or dutch oven over medium-high heat. Cook the meat, breaking it up with a spoon as you go, until no longer pink. Drain the fat off and return the pot to the stove.
Add the minced garlic to the pot and stir. Cook for 1 minute or until fragrant.
While the beef is browning, chop the carrots, celery, and onions into a small dice. Add them to the pot with the browned ground beef and stir.
Reduce the burner heat to low and cook the mixture until the vegetables are softened and the onions are translucent. Season with salt and pepper.
Let the ground beef mixture cool completely before packaging it in 1-2 cup servings for your freezer.
Mark the packets with date and freeze for up to 3 months.

How to Use Frozen Ground Beef Packets
Place a ground beef meal prep packet in your fridge overnight to thaw.You could also gently defrost it in the microwave or let it soak (still in its bag!) in a bowl of cold water for 20 minutes.
