When it rains, it pours

Life has been throwing me plenty of curveballs with the pregnancy for Little Pea. All of them amounted to nothing  in the end, for which I have been very grateful. Somehow I thought that with her delivery, I was finally in the clear for any more pregnancy drama but sadly that was not to be.

I'm writing this post from my hospital bed. Checked in here yesterday afternoon for some surgical complications from last week's c-section. At the end of the long story, I should be just fine. On the short end of things, I need to spend 5 days away from my baby while they get me on a healthier path.

So, I'm extending the deadline for our Day in the Life Project. This is the week I hope you're choosing a day to document, but if life has thrown you as many curveballs as it has me, feel free to pick a day any time through next week as well.

I can promise you one thing, my experience in the last 24 hours really hit home how important appreciating your daily life really is. Do it for yourself, do it for your family. Share it with all of us here on the internet. Let's all be thankful for the little things together.

It's not too late to decide to join in our project, just grab your camera and go!
