Back before I dove into my super secret project I had pieced together the tops of some Valentine's Day table runners. They were put aside for the last couple weeks and one look at the calendar told me I better shake a leg if I wanted to get them in use before the appropriate holiday.
I love doing table runners, they are such a quick and satisfying project. Finishing them took just one nap session a piece. They may be on my table through Easter this year since they aren't overly heart-themed (and Easter runners are not on my "approved project list" pre-Little Pea's arrival) so I'm hoping to get lots of use out of them.
I used Rachel's Disappearing Nine Patch tutorial for the tops and the fabric is a mix of Fig Tree & Co.'s Mill House Inn and Patisserie.
Feels so good to be working my way through my pile of unfinished projects!! I guess this means I need to delve back into my Christmas things. I'm ready to pack them away and not think about holly berries for another 10 months. At least I have something spring-y all finished and out on display to brighten my views when I leave the sewing room.
