A heart shaped dish of strawberry cheesecake dip has cookie crumbles on top and is surrounded by fresh strawberries for dunking.

I love serving fresh fruit with a fruit dip for parties. It's a great way to encourage kids to try fruit from the party table.

The trick is making the dip look just as appealing as a dessert!

This strawberry cheesecake dip has brown sugar graham cracker crumbles sprinkled over the top. They only add another 15 minutes to the super-easy recipe and give an awesome crispy crunch to the dip.

Serve them alongside a big bowl of beautiful fresh strawberries with a smaller bowl of mini chocolate chips and a container of skewers for your guests to dunk and dip their own berries as they go!

Why This is the Best Recipe

I first made this simple no bake dessert for my daughter's kindergarten Valentine's Day party. We've loved it enough to make it several times since, I think it is the best strawberry cheesecake dip recipe because:

  1. Two Ingredients: The creamy base uses marshmallow fluff and cream cheese and is so easy.
  2. Crispy Cookie Crumble Topping: Mix and match the kinds of cookies you use, this adds so much awesome texture to the dip.
  3. Make-Ahead Friendly: You can prep the elements to the dip in advance, then just assemble and serve.

Ingredients

The ingredients to make the dip are on the counter.

The cheesecake dip itself has just two easy ingredients!

  • Strawberry Cream Cheese
  • Marshmallow Fluff

To make the delicious cookie crumble topping, you will also need:

  • Cookies: I used Biscoff cookies but you could use graham crackers, chocolate wafer cookies, or any simple cookie you love.
  • Butter
  • Vanilla
  • Brown Sugar
  • Regular Sugar
  • Kosher Salt

When you serve the dip, you will also want to have some fresh strawberries for dunking.

Prepare the Strawberry Cheesecake Base

Add the softened cream cheese to a large mixing bowl and beat until smooth with a hand mixer on medium speed.

The strawberry cream cheese has been whipped by a hand mixer.

Gently stir in the marshmallow fluff until smooth.

The marshmallow fluff has been added to the mixing bowl.

Spread the dip into a pretty serving dish.

Chill it in the fridge until you're ready to serve, at least 20 minutes for it to firm up a bit.

The strawberry dip has been spread into a heart-shaped dish.

Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray an 8x8 baking dish with cooking spray.

Add cookies to a zip-top baggie and seal. Use a rolling pin or mallet to crush the crackers into crumbs.

The cookies are being crushed by a mallet.

Add the crumbs to a bowl with the sugar and salt. Add the melted butter and vanilla. Stir everything together until the crumbs are evenly coated.

The melted butter, vanilla, cookie crumbs, and brown sugar are ready to be stirred.

Pour into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining white sugar and a pinch of kosher salt over the top.

Bake for 15 minutes or until toasted brown.

The cookie crumble has sugar and salt sprinkled over the top.

Let the cookie crumble cool completely before breaking it up into crumbly pieces for sprinkling on top of the dip.

Make Ahead Tips

The strawberry cheesecake dip can be made 2 - 3 days in advance and stored in the fridge in an airtight container.

Just be sure to keep the cookie crumble topping in an airtight container separately and sprinkle it over the top just before serving.

This recipe should not be frozen.

Variations

You can have fun making several variations of this popular fruit dip just by changing the base flavor of your cream cheese!

  1. Pineapple Cheesecake Dip: Use pineapple cream cheese and serve with strawberries, blackberries, and pineapple wedges.
  2. Blueberry Cheesecake Dip: Use blueberry cream cheese and serve with apples, graham crackers, and fresh strawberries.
  3. Brown Sugar Cheesecake Dip: Use brown sugar and cinnamon cream cheese and serve with sliced apples, especially tart Granny Smith.
  4. Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Dip: Use pumpkin spice cream cheese and serve with fresh apples and graham crackers.
  5. Honey Pecan Cheesecake Dip: Use honey pecan cream cheese and serve with sliced apples and blackberries.

Serving Suggestions

A heart shaped dish of strawberry cheesecake dip has cookie crumbles on top and is surrounded by fresh strawberries for dunking.

Keep the cookie crumble topping separate from the strawberry dip until just before serving to maintain the crispy texture.

Place the dish with the dip on a larger platter and then surround it with fresh fruit for dipping.

Fresh strawberries are an obvious choice but fresh grapes, fresh pineapple, or even fresh apple slices would all taste amazing.

You could also serve it with mini chocolate chips on the side for sprinkling over the top.
