Project 365: The half-way mark

I have been diligently clicking away for my Project365 this year and I can't believe we've reached the half-way mark already. I have a whole new perspective on what "a year" means and what it feels like.

I've had ups and downs with the project, including one pretty major lull in the last couple weeks. But realizing I'm half way there gives me a fresh burst of inspiration. One thing that has been abundantly clear in my project folder is my lack of good summertime photos. It is a big "in my face" wake up call to get out there and appreciate this season while it's here!

 

So I'm adding a few daytrips to our agenda this week to mix things up a bit. We need to venture farther away from home more often. With a newborn it is too easy to stick close to "safety", so this is a great incentive to push myself out of the comfort zone and get out with my girls. I'm thinking a trip to the Farmer's Market and botanic gardens are in order.
