Another Friday, another Project 52 debate. This week's comparison brings up an interesting idea. I have two photos that feature the same 2 people but in my opinion each photo represents completely different subjects.
The girls and I made a visit to my parents' home earlier this week. I don't get to play outside with the Peanut very much because Little Pea is too small to take outside with us. Grandpa happily obliged the Peanut with a play session in their backyard and I was able to capture these two images:
This photo is all about my dad. The Peanut is still there and she's an important part of the image, but this is a picture of my dad smiling his surprised and happy smile because the Peanut is giving him such a huge hug.
Both photos are wonderful memories for me but one is about my daughter and her world, the other is about my dad. I think it is funny how such a little shift in pose can completely change the subject of a photo. I'm thrilled to have both of these in our photo collection, now the only question is which one fits in "The Project."
