I signed up for Wilette's free Joy of Love workshop for the month of February and we're over a week into the project. I'm sad to say it has been much harder for me to keep up with this project than anything else I've done photo related. The daily photo prompts have been nice inspiration, but I have found it really difficult to capture a specific assignment on each specific day.
After a few days of feeling disappointed in myself, I've decided I'm filing these photo prompts and I'm going to work on them as a collection over the whole month rather than a day by day thing. I may or may not get all of them. Some days I might complete more than one prompt. By the end of the month, I hope to have captured the majority of the assignments.
In the meantime, I thought I'd share some as the project progresses. This is Day 2's assignment, "How they look". We're supposed to capture that signature expression of our loved one. This photo is so signature Little Pea. This is the look she gives me just as she's leaning in to suck on my cheek. It also happens to be the look she gives me when she's leaning forward in a giggle while I'm tickling her tummy (which is how I got her to make this face in the first place.) Oh how I love that crazy wide-eyed grin!
I believe Wilette has mentioned it still isn't too late to sign up if you're interested in receiving her email prompts. She's had some really great photo tips for both SLR users and point and shooters. At least you know you won't be the only one behind and tackling this project from a different angle! I'd love to see what everyone else is coming up with!
