Knowing I'd need some buttons at some point for my pin cushion projects, I snagged a fistful of clearance buttons at a local store for 50 cents a card. I admit I've never bought buttons before. I couldn't believe my eyes how pricey those little stinkers are! Originally about $2.75 a card, I made out like a bandit spending a total of $6 for about $40 worth of buttons.
And then the buttons sat. Waiting. For a good long time.
Then my peanut helper discovered a whole new world of fun on top of my sewing table. She meticulously plucked each button from its card and placed it within the box I gave her to hold them.
Then she rearranged, sorted, and rearranged again.
I'm not kidding when I say an hour went by. $6 for endless amounts of fun.
