This is what I imagine you're thinking right now. Who am I to be offering up any advice on cooking or crafting or photography? What on earth are my qualifications?
Truth is, I have none.
I'm just a girl bursting at the seams with creative energy that needed an outlet. I'm not an expert at anything, I just thrive on learning and experimenting and challenge. I'm also a natural born helper. I just want to share my discoveries with you in hopes that maybe you'll be inspired to learn something new yourself.
I'm a completely self-taught sewer, crafter, and baker. I know what I know from obsessively watching Martha Stewart, Food Network, and reading countless blogs, magazines, and tutorials.
I'm a mostly self-taught photographer with a lot of help from ClickinMoms workshops and forum membership.
In May of 2011, I made one of the biggest daring dreamy leaps of my life when I decided to gather up the courage to be a real live working photographer.
You can read about the crazy lightning bolt of inspiration that lead me to that leap here:
Inspiration leads to action: The final summary of 5 posts that tell my story.
Since then, I've been busy growing my stock portfolio and am currently working as an exclusive contributor over at Dreamstime.
This blog is my home base on the web. If you like what you see, I'd love to have you join in the conversation here, over on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest. I'm sure you have plenty to share too. Even if you don't know it yet.
